The IBSS platform supports the following functions on VECOS:

  • View lockers by Locker Bank
  • View lockers by Locker Group
  • Claim a specific locker
  • Release a specific locker
  • Unlock a claimed locker

Configuring locker banks

Each locker bank in the locker management system requires a corresponding Space record in IBSS.

For each locker bank:

  • Create one Space record with the Space Type set to LockerBank.
⚠️ Ensure the corresponding locker bank in Vecos contains at least one locker, as empty locker banks can cause connector synchronisation errors and prevent lockers from appearing in Roamer X.
  • The Space Name of the Space record must match the corresponding locker bank name in the external locker system.
  • The space should be configured as non-bookable (S6 - non-bookable but enabled space).
Non-bookable locker bank spaces allow lockers to:
    • Appear in the Amenities section of Roamer X.
    • Be returned in search results.
    • Display occupancy information on maps.

User Requirements

Users accessing locker functionality through IBSS must also exist as valid users in the Releezme locker management system.

Integration Parameters

Parameter name Explanation
Loc_Location_Id
  • Specifies the location identifier from the Releezme locker management system.
  • Links a building to the lockers available at that location.
Releezme_UseLockerGroups

Method to determine how lockers are organised:

  • Locker Banks: Traditional locker bank structure.
  • Locker Groups: Alternative organisational structure supported by the locker management system.
Automatic validation parameter A required integration parameter is created automatically when the environment is created. Verify that this parameter is configured correctly, as an incorrect value may cause locker integration errors.
