Checking in

Remember to check in to your booking to ensure that you do not lose the space through an automatic check out policy that might exist. It also provides your colleagues confirmation of your location, if you have enabled it, within the Find a colleague feature and helps workplace management teams better understand the building use through analytics.

There's manual or automated check in available in IBSS apps. During building configurations and setting up booking policies, your organisation decides what method for check in their employees will have.

Manage PIN is used to set or change your PIN code to check in or out on meeting room tablets.

Checking out

Once you’re done with your activities in the space, tap the Check Out button. To ensure that spaces are not inadvertently left in the checked in state, the platform will automatically check the user out at the end of their scheduled booking.

Remember to check out to not only free up the space for someone else to use, but also to update your location and further support building use analytics.
