What's new

• Ticketed events: browse upcoming events from the home page or More > Events, book a place for yourself or others, join a waitlist for full events, and cancel your place.
• Microsoft Entra External ID sign-in: users can now sign in with Entra External ID (B2C) accounts.
• Linked space and layout filters: space search supports linked spaces and space layouts.

What's changed

• Sign-in is now email-first: Roamer X detects your sign-in method from your email address.
• Roamer X now enforces the Microsoft Intune app protection PIN policy.
• Attendees to a meeting can be promoted to visitors with or without in-person attendance.
• Beacon-based locations now show as an area on the map instead of a single point.
• The calendar sync account no longer appears in meeting attendee lists.
• When searching for a specific space from search bar, the system will no longer return the space is it's disabled or non-bookable.
• Roamer X now uses the V2 user preferences API service with IBSS API 2.22 or later.

What's fixed

• We've fixed adding a visitor to the booking. Arrival Location is no longer required field, and now visitors can be added to a booking with no issue.
• Fixed preferences not being saved for new users on IBSS API 2.22 or later.
• Fixed a revoked Gallagher mobile pass still showing in Roamer X.
• Users are now correctly recognised as the owner of their bookings when their email address differs from their username.
• Fixed the Bookings page showing only bookings for the selected building.
• Fixed a colleague's booking card showing the wrong building after switching buildings.
• Fixed favouriting colleagues whose display name isn't in the form First Last.
• Fixed QR code scans not suggesting a booking time based on your working hours.
• Fixed booking a space that is part of linked spaces when another space in the setup is already booked. Linked space configuration will show unavailable, and the individual space can be booked now.
• Fixed equipment not showing when booking resources.
• Fixed the catering page now showing menus that are only available for the booking.
• Fixed task cancellation, and the Cancel task button not showing for some users with permission.
• Errors are showing as a toast message in RFC 9457 format with details.

Accessibility improvements

• Improved screen reader support: buttons and fields now have names, headings, focus order, and warning messages are announced correctly, and time selection works with TalkBack.
• Improved support for larger device text sizes, and improved colour contrast for booking text and map elements.
• On Android, Roamer X now stays in portrait orientation.
