Release Notes - Roamer X - Early Access 2.2 - 2.3 - 2.4

Roamer X is our next-generation mobile app in active development, designed to enhance engagement and boost productivity while offering seamless access to intelligent building services. With this first release, the following features are now available.

What's new

  • Integrated HID Mobile Access. Security Passes are stored under Main menu > User Preferences in Roamer X.
  • Tasks pages have been enabled for users with corresponding permissions
  • Space control pages to handle room temperature, lighting, and blind, curtains, and windows.
  • Adding service requests from the space page and viewing existing ones is made available.
  • Lockers tab under Bookings shows lockers claimed by the user.
  • When claiming VECOS locker, a message confirms successful action.
  • Roamer X is using the BookOutsideOfPolicySlots permission.
  • Confirmation message is shown during booking check-out.
  • Optional Booking Attendance field helps indicate the number of attendees expected.

What's fixed

  • Visitor status chip is now shown on the edit visitor page.
  • Approval Notes are added to pages for viewing and editing a visitor record.
  • When adding a visitor, correct time zone format is used. Local times are converted to the UTC0 format.
  • During a booking conflict when Setup and Reset slots cannot be created or updated, an error message now indicates this to the user.
  • Users with the Bookings.IgnoreAllPolicyRestrictions and API.Bookings.BookOutsideOfficeHours permissions can book on weekends.
  • Favourite amenities are shown for the selected building only.
  • The Available Until chip is shown on the space booking page only when booking for today.
  • If now is greater than the user's end time preference, booking end time is being correctly set to start time +1 hour.
  • For buildings with the Signify positioning enabled, opening the Roamer X map requires phone camera permissions enabled to display user's precise location on the map.
