What's changed or added

• Updated the booking flow to remove the mandatory second step to tailor a booking. Now, after creating a booking, user is returned to the home page, and they are provided with the option to tailor the booking further if needed via a pop-up message. If no further edits are needed, the user can manually close the pop-up, or it will automatically close after several seconds.
• When booking using the map, users select a space and define a date and time without returning back to the search results. 
• The ability to add single catering orders to bookings has been added.
• Booking nearby for others is enabled in Roamer X. Users can book a space for themselves, and then book adjacent spaces for their colleagues.
• App Protection Policy support added for Managed / Unmanaged iOS devices.
• App Protection Policy support for Unmanaged Android Devices. For Managed Android devices improved support is coming in a subsequent release.

• App reads QR code based on Visit ID or PACS field: visits can successfully be checked in and checked out via their Visit ID or Visit PACS ID. They can also check in by scanning a QR code that is created based on these Visit ID or Visit PACS ID fields.
• When adding an ad-hoc visitor, their email is now an optional field.
• User can add hearing aid to the booking.
• User Preferences are cached on initial load and are not called again anywhere else.
• Added haptic feedback to button and links displayed.
• The Booking Attendance field is displayed as set up in the booking policy.
• Troubleshooting file logs all necessary information if user selects this option under User Preferences.
• Added permission validation checks for the BookOutsidePolicySlots permission. Such users can book over policy slots that are not enabled.

What's fixed

Android

• When adding or removing colleague from favourites when using the search bar, search results are refreshed.
• Once the app has been forced closed, it no longer attempt to run in the background if other services, like HID or Indoor positioning are enabled.
• Visitor attendees are correctly labelled as visitors in the attendee list.

Android and iOS

Booking a space

• On the booking page, Available until time is now correctly displaying the current days end time from the policy's bookable slots.
• The Booking created snackbar message has the close button now.
• If the booking policy allows multiple booking slots for the space, users are presented with all available time ranges and can book only within those time ranges.
• Making a booking on behalf of someone else creates a booking with the correct host assigned.
• Lockers under Amenities are loading only for building that have lockers enabled.

Viewing map

• App no longer crashes when switching between floors on map or when navigating backwards/forwards through structured search tiles.
• User is now able to select spaces on every floor map.
• The pin showing the selected space remains when switching floors maps. Changing floors removes the pin.
• Maps are downloading all spaces for the floor. However the limit is set to 500. Further refinements will be made in a subsequent release.

Using a space booking

• We hid room controls for spaces that don't have the controls.
• Room control options are displayed on the booking only when it is checked in.
• When updating space lighting, Roamer X is sending the correct values and displays the correct value too.
• Scan to check in and confirm location button on the booking card on the home page is now enabled by the start time/early check in time for the approved bookings.
• Viewing a checked in booking opens the active booking page and gives the user the option to check out.
• Users can successfully check in to their bookings and view their active bookings.
• No errors are returned when updating bookings that are for now, details are updated successfully.

Finding a colleague

• When searching for multiple colleagues and removing one from the list, just that one selected colleague is removed as expected.

Known issue

• Cannot open Roamer on iPhone 16 devices when HID pass has been issued to the device.
• Users have to manually refresh the home page for their current or future bookings as well as KPI tiles to be displayed.
• Biometric access on iOS does not work as of now.
