Applies to iOS version 1.4.x or later, Android version 1.4.x or later

To ensure the most optimal experience for users, Roamer is sometimes updated to use new functions or fix issues reported by customers. To ensure that all users are notified to move to the updated version, a version check is made whenever the app is started. If the app is older than a specific minimum version, two dialogs will be presented to the user.

Unsupported Version

If the version of the app currently installed is older than a specific minimum version AND the date that the new version is made mandatory is not yet passed, the user will be presented with an unsupported version dialog. This requests the user to update to the latest version of the app from the app stores or company portal (depending on organisational policy). The app will continue to work until this date as normal.

Deprecated Version

If the version of the app currently installed is older than a specific minimum version AND the date that the new version is made mandatory has now passed, the user will be presented with a deparecated version dialog. This requests the user to update to the latest version of the app from the app stores or company portal (depending on organisational policy). The app will no longer work until it is updated.
