What's fixed

Checking in or registering for an ad-hoc visit

• Visitors were unable to search for a host when registering for a visit. We've resolved it now.
• Time selector for the end time of the visit for an ad-hoc visit is not cut off at the top and bottom any more.
• The Enter Visit Code page now correctly chooses which pages to show next: check in or check out based on the current state of the visit record.
• We've corrected the validation within the allowed check-in period:
  • Check-in is allowed before the Visit Start time within the early check-in window that is set by Vis_Arvl_Wndw_Mins.
  • Check-in is allowed after the Visit Start time.
  • Check-in is not allowed before the early check-in window that is set by Vis_Arvl_Wndw_Mins.
• When registering a visit or checking in, once the registration is complete, for the successfully created visit, the app now displays the correct confirmation page with the visit details.

Checking in with the questions flow

• When answering a multi-option single-select question, Guest is now corrected to save the visitor's answer instead of a generic “true” statement. Also, the helper text is visible on the page.
• If the visitor's answer navigates them to a previous step, the visitor can now correctly navigate back through the workflow from a previous question by using the Continue button.
• Visitor can't skip past required policy anymore, and it must be agreed to continue. The validation message has been added to notify the user that they cannot proceed without accepting the policy. When there are multiple policies on the page, each must be accepted separately.
• When accepting the policy, we've adjusted colours for tick boxes to be blue as designed.
• If the page doesn't require a visitor input, the Continue button will be enabled for the person to proceed.
• App no longer crashes when checking in the visitor after completing the workflow with questions.
• On the open-type questions, the entry field uses the provided character limit on the question.
• Guest now stores the values in the ModifiedBy and ModifiedAt fields consistently across all question types during the check-in process.

QR code scanning

• The QR code scanner is fixed to load in landscape layout.
• Scanning a QR code that results in an error (invalid or expired Visit ID) now correctly restarts the camera feed after the error has been cleared.
• The Back button no longer loads until Camera feed has initialised. Previously, the app would crash on the QR Pass page.
• Rotating device after exiting the QR Code page no longer crashes the app.
• Checking in or out via QR code scanner will now provide the Is This You? pop up to confirm details before check in or out.

Checking out with email

• Checking out with email is fixed now and the visit record details are populated into the Visitor Name and Host Name fields.
