On the Tasks > Types page, you can view and manage all task types that were created for the selected building. You can:
- Search for a task type
- Make one or more task types active or inactive
- Delete task types
- Add a new task type

Creating a task type
To add a new task type:
- Click +ADD in the top right corner of the Task Type list page. A new Create Task Type page opens.
- Fill in at least mandatory fields for your users to start using this task type to raise service requests.
- Task Type Name should be descriptive and explicit for end users to confidently select it as needed.
- Select Space Type to apply this task type to.
- Select Task Category to be the predecessor for this task type when users will be creating a service request.
- Set Priority for task resolvers.
- ResourceType
- Resolve Duration (minutes)
- Priority Resolve Duration (minutes)
- Meta External Task Type ID to connect with external service management system.
- Choose whether Enable this Task Type now.
- Allow users to add free-text details about the issue is used to make users to mandatory add a comment to the raised task.
- Require Cost Code for resolving the task.
- Make this task type a Default Space Cleaning Task if the Cleaning Category is available.
- Make this task type a Default Catering Task if the Catering Category is available. Can be used for easy coffee refills etc.
- Click Save.
