The Visitor Types page in Operations is one of the pieces to get visitor management working in your organisation.
When setting up as many visitor types as needed, consider the following recommendations:
- Use meaningful names for visitor types as your colleagues won't know what questions you ask their visitors. For example: Delivery, Consultant.
- If your organisation is not using the IBSS Guest app for visitors to check in independently and answer the questions that you have for them, then they will have to answer those questions at the reception. Define the most necessary questions for building entry in any scenario.
- Visitor type description is visible for the reference only to the users that have access to the Visitor Types page in Operations.
