View Gallagher security pass in Roamer X

First, the user needs to accept email invitation to activate their account in Gallagher that's been set up by their organisation. Organisations can control on the Gallagher side what's included in the invitation email.
⚠️ Important: Email invitation expires in 7 days after sending. After it expires, the Gallagher account must be activated by the admin again.

⚠️ Important: Gallagher security pass is tied to the device where the invitation has been accepted. Changing the device or resetting it to the factory settings will mean that the Gallagher credentials must be sent again to the user.

To use Gallagher for Mobile Access to the building, the user needs to enable Gallagher as a provider in Roamer X on their phone:

1. Open User Preferences > Security Passes in the Profile Preferences section of the side menu in the upper left corner of the home page.
2. Enable the Mobile Security Passes toggle.
3. Tap +Add provider.
4. In the slide-out panel, select Gallagher as a provider.
5. Select Mobile Connect Cloud Server as the region.
6. Provide Registration Code or scan QR code that you have received from your Gallagher welcome email.
7. Tap Submit.

Now, you can use your phone to enter spaces. Your security pass image is accessible in the side menu under Security Passes section. A valid token is active for 3 days if there's no connectivity, the token will expire if the device is not connected to the Internet.

⚠️ Push notifications are sent directly from Gallagher Command Centre but their receiving is not guaranteed.

Using Mobile Connect in practice

Should all preconditions be fulfilled, entering the building using Roamer X with the integrated Gallagher Mobile Connect technology looks like this:

• Phone is connected to the Internet
• Roamer X is logged in and running
• Bluetooth and location settings are allowed

Now, user can access their security pass as follows:

• By opening Roamer X from a full closed state. The intermediary loading page opens, and the security passes are loaded here.
• From the side menu > Security Passes page once Roamer X is open.

Using the security pass from either of the above methods means that:

1. When user is close enough to the reader, a button will appear in Roamer X under their pass for the reader, the user can select this to open the lock.
   Or user can bring their device close up and 'tap' the reader to open the lock.
2. Mobile ID is stored on the device and is transferred to lock over the air.
3. Reader is activated through selecting the reader from within Roamer X.
4. Reader sends credential data to access control system.
5. User accesses the secure space.
