What's changed

• With the introduction of the updated catering options in 2023.02 Flex, Roamer now instructs users to create or edit the catering order in Flex if catering is enabled for an organisation. When viewing a booking that includes catering, it shows the Visit Flex to add/edit catering message.
• Roamer adheres to booking policy settings when displaying available spaces and respects excluded dates as set by the policy. Occupancy data information from connected sensors is also taken into account.
• V2 Space search API is now used for KPI search, map search, global search, and filtered search pages.
• Default cost codes are automatically applied if set under User Preferences. Cost Codes can be edited when creating a booking. This will work after a server upgrade to 2024.01 in the coming months.
• The new Delegated by tab is now available to book on behalf of the person who granted Delegate Access to the user. This will work after a server upgrade to 2024.01 in the coming months.
• 📌 With the iOS app version 1.22.1065 and Android app version 1.22.960:
  • Optimised map loading to load the preferred floor map first. This reduces the initial Roamer loading time for organisations with multiple buildings.
  • Where organisations have 3rd party integrations to other systems that require the use of the latest Visits API, Roamer will now use these when necessary.

What's fixed

• Full list of user's bookings is now correctly displayed under My bookings tab.
• Dates or times that are excluded by booking policy are now correctly displayed as not bookable.
• Spaces that cannot be booked are displayed as search results for wayfinding purposes if you search for future days after the current day.
• If a space is marked as bookable, and if occupancy sensors return a number of greater than 1 but that number is less than the capacity associated to the space, the space will be listed as available in the search results.
• Search for spaces that are available as soon as possible returns the same list of results for map view and list view. The search results will display spaces that are available between the time of search (now) and time that is set under User Preferences.
• Under User Preferences, floors are properly displayed when switching buildings.
• User Preferences aren't reset anymore on app start-up.
• User Preferences zone selection is now respected during space search.
• Fixed opening the equipment page when scanning the equipment QR code.
• Time of the booking that is displayed on the booking summary page is now the same as user initially defined for their booking.
• Users who have the Booking outside of working hours permission have no issues with bookings anymore.
• With the iOS app version 1.22.1056 and Android app version 1.22.950: Fixed the error when opening the map view for the users with the permissions to ignore all policy restrictions or to book outside of their office hours.
• 📌 With the iOS app version 1.22.1065 and Android app version 1.22.960:
  • The Made for Others tab is displayed for users who are delegates but don't have the permission to book on behalf of someone else.
  • When editing a booking, the option is now shown to change the user who you are booking on behalf of or your delegator, depending on the permissions that you have.
  • Fixed duplicating your booking for someone else as a delegate.

Known issues

• We’ve added Japanese translations for Roamer, but some terms are still missing translation in this language.
• Building announcements are sent on creation time instead of the selected Active / Start time.
