🚩Available with app version R2025.01
In IBSS, organisations can set up two types of redirects for end-user apps:
- Quick Links (for Flex or Roamer)
- Dynamic Shortcuts (prev. called Building KPI tiles) (for Roamer)
In Admin Portal under the Manage section > Signposts page, the user with the permissions ADMINPORTAL.PORTFOLIOSETUP.BUILDINGKPIS and APPLIESTO rules can view existing Quick Links and Dynamic Shortcuts, edit them, and create new ones.

Quick Link or Dynamic Shortcuts are added per building and per device. For example: if the same Quick Link is required for Flex and Roamer, two separate Quick Links have to be created.
QuickLink Shortcut Configuration
Quick Links can be used to share useful links on Flex or Roamer X homepages of their users. The links can lead to any external resource online:
- From Flex, they will open in a new tab of the browser app.
- From Roamer, user is redirected to their default browser app, and the link will open in a new tab.
Upon selecting the QuickLink option when creating a signpost, fill in the following fields:
- Target Applications. Specify client app(s) for which the Quick Link is intended (Flex, Roamer, both Flex and Roamer).
- Quick Link Heading and Subheading as you want it to appear on the corresponding app.
-
QuickLink Order in which it will be displayed in the target app among other Quick Links.
You can assign the same number (from 1 to 5) to several Quick Links to group them. For example: if several Quick Links have the order value 3, they will be grouped for users. - Background image: Upload or link to a background image for the Quick Link.
- From Date/To Date to set active display dates for the Quick Link ensuring that only active Quick Links are displayed to users.
- Link Label to define appearance of the web address on the Quick Link tile.
- Destination HTML will contain the actual link where you'd like to direct your users to.
- Active toggle to control if the Quick Link should be displayed or temporarily hidden.
Flex refreshes the QuickLink layout every 5 minutes as new Quick Links are added, removed, or re-ordered in the Admin portal.
Dynamic Shortcuts Configuration
Dynamic Shortcuts (prev. called Building KPI) are used on home page of the Roamer X app to streamline space search. Most popular pace types can have their dynamic shortcut for users to start search for them directly.
Upon selecting the KPI option when creating a signpost, fill in the following fields:
- Type to specify the type of KPI tile
| NumberSlider | TextSlider | NumberOnly | TextOnly | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Roamer 1 | ![]() |
![]() |
![]() |
![]() |
| Roamer X | image coming soon | image coming soon | image coming soon | image coming soon |
- Add a short description Label.
- Define the KPI Order for this tile to be displayed on the Roamer or Inspire home page.
- Select image file of the icon to be displayed on it.
- Define the Maximum Count for the maximum value that the availability value will be based on. This is the maximum amount of the spaces of that type that the Dynamic Shortcut is set to represent.
- Define threshold values for changing the red, amber, green colour for dynamic shortcut (integers) under:
- KPI Limit 1 to define when the availability status must change from green to amber.
- KPI Limit 2 to define when the availability status must change from amber to red.
- Provide descriptive text for three dynamic shortcut states (red, amber, green) under Text Box 1, Text Box 2, Text Box 3.
- Specify the Initial KPI Value (integer). Initial value to show until API is updated with real data.
- Value URL for where to fetch the dynamic shortcut data dynamically.
- (optional to apply additional filtering criteria) Action Label to define the query for any action related to the dynamic shortcut. For example, it can include any needed limitation for the search to be performed using this dynamic shortcut (search for disabled spaces, tasks, etc.)
- Add an Action URI for action associated with the dynamic shortcut. For example, for desks it can be: roamer://spaces/search?searchtype=Filter&filter={ValueURI}.
- Active toggle to control if the dynamic shortcut should be displayed (active) or temporarily hidden.
