This article will provide a step-by-step guide to clearing the application cache.
Clearing the cache is a rare activity and is usually only required when significant changes have been made to the building portfolio. If you are running into any issues where you don't see the spaces you are expecting, or your user rights have been recently changed, a clear cache action will be required.
1.14 and earlier
Steps:
- Tap the burger bar at the top left of the application to access the menu.
- Tap User Preferences.
- Tap Data Privacy.
- Tap Clear Cache.
- Close the app and open it again and the latest information will be downloaded to the cache. If you have a large portfolio of buildings, this will take some time (1 - 2 minutes depending on your connection).
1.20 and later
Steps:
- Tap the burger bar at the top left of the application to access the menu.
- Click User Preferences
- Scroll down to the Help & Troubleshooting section and click Logging & Diagnostics
- Towards the bottom of the page, click the Clear Cache button and click OK on the confirmation pop-up
- Close the app and open it again and the latest information will be downloaded to the cache. If you have a large portfolio of buildings, this will take some time (1 - 2 minutes depending on your connection).
