What's new with the following releases:
- 2024.03
- Three options for which tiles to display on Home screen
- Custom Visitor Type flow when visitors check in via Visitor Code or QR Code
IBSS Guest welcomes a visitor at the entrance of an office building. This app saves time and efforts of the front of house staff while they help with complex visits or questions that other visitors might have.
Home page options
The app can be configured to have the following combination of check-in and check-out options:
Option 1. The Register tile only for ad-hoc visitors who don't have a visitor record created in IBSS nor email invitation sent to them prior to their visit.

Option 2. The Register and Check out via email tiles.

Option 3. All available options to:
- Scan QR Pass
- Enter Visit Code
- Register for ad-hoc visitors
- Check out via email

- Scan QR Pass. The app will use the device camera to look for the visitor QR code that you as a visitor have received in an email invitation from your meeting host. Camera view will be shown in place of the simulated QR code.
- Enter Visit Code. If the QR scan does not work or you prefer not to use the QR code, tap Enter Code to check you in or out of your visit.
- For unplanned visits, tap Register to enter your details and be admitted to the building.
- Tap Check out via email for the system to log that your visit has ended and you are exiting the premises.
When a visitor chooses the Scan QR Pass (1) or Enter Visit Code (2) option to register at the building, they can be presented with predefined questions. These can be:
- Request for additional information (for example for delivery services).
- Request for agreement with a certain policy that is established for certain visitors.
- A few options for selection presented to a visitor (if they might need presentation aids, for example).
