Ticketed Events in Flex

To create an event and invite participants, create a space booking first where you plan to host your event. This must be a space that allows conducting ticketed events as previously set by your organisation. Use the Need Events? toggle during space search:

  • Under Additional criteria if booking on the Simple Booking page.
  • Or under Show more search options if booking on the Advanced Booking page.

Creating an event

After you create a booking of such space, you can add your event:

  • By using the EVENTS button on the booking confirmation popup as you would add other services to your booking.
  • By opening your booking for editing: My Bookings > booking that should contain an event > click Ticketed Event.

Event page opens, where you fill in the details:

Will the event be managed by a 3rd party?

Invite Permission:

  • Internal
  • External
  • Internal and External

 

⚠️ This permission cannot be edited after you publish the event. If this field needs change, the event must be created from scratch.

Does the event have a cost to attend?
Ticket Price
if previous field is enabled
Would you like to broadcast the event to IBSS announcements?

Will you be checking in attendees?

To indicate for the reception that attendees must be checked in to the building.

Complete creating your event by clicking one of the following buttons:

  • Create & Publish
  • Save as Draft
  • Cancel Changes

If during event creation you have chosen to broadcast your event to announcements, you will be offered to create the announcement at this stage. Refer to this article when creating an announcement for your event: Announcements in OneLens 360.
