Applicable in release 2024.03 onwards.
This is an optional booking policy type. If in the Policy Information section > Policy Type, you select Floor, you can set the following:
- Floor for a Policy Type.
- Select the specific floor in your organisation's building.
- Policy Name.
- Provide Policy Description for users to understand when they can and cannot book.
- Excluded Dates to prevent booking of spaces on the entire floor on those dates. Start adding dates that should be excluded from available times for all spaces within this given floor.
The Excluded Dates section allows you to define days on which bookings are not possible. This could include:
- National Holidays
- Planned maintenance or building closures

Company meetings or special events
If a date is added to this section, users will be unable to book the assigned spaces for the duration and will be notified in the application that booking is not allowed. Specifying such dates helps manage spaces effectively and avoid having to disappoint users by cancelling bookings later.
